About Us

Our story

In 2020, the world came to a standstill. The pandemic shut down schools, and suddenly, parents found themselves in the unfamiliar role of a teacher, struggling to balance work, home life, and their children's education. For families with limited resources, this was an especially tough challenge. Reading, a fundamental skill for success, was slipping through the cracks as parents felt overwhelmed and unprepared to teach it.

As a dedicated primary school teacher, I saw this crisis unfold and knew I had to step in. That’s how Little Readers Shine was born. I launched a TikTok account to share simple, effective strategies with parents on how to teach their children to read at home. The response was overwhelming—parents from around the world shared how these methods were transforming their children's reading skills during such a challenging time.

However, I knew I needed to create something more lasting—a tool that could reach every child, anywhere, and at any time. That’s why I designed the Little Readers Learn to Read Workbooks. Each page includes a QR code linking to a video lesson, allowing children to access reading lessons wherever they are, whenever it's convenient for them. This ensures that every child, regardless of their circumstances, can gain the skills they need to become confident readers.

Our Mission

At Little Readers Shine, our mission is to empower children to become confident readers at an early age. We believe that reading is the key to unlocking a child's potential, and every child, regardless of their background, deserves that opportunity.

Our Vision

We envision a world where every child has access to quality literacy resources, no matter where they come from. Our workbooks are designed to bridge the gap, providing children with the tools they need to succeed, while also giving parents the guidance to support their child's learning journey. Together, we can create a brighter future—one reader at a time.
